"Cherokee Cane" is a documentary project, inspired during Victor's internship at the Western Carolina University Mountain Heritage Center Museum. Tasked with producing a film about the exhibit "Rivercane Renaissance," Victor collaborated with experts and the Cherokee community. The documentary sheds light on the cultural and environmental importance of the native river cane. It delves into topics like ecology, conservation efforts, and its deep-rooted significance for the Cherokee community in Western NC.
Through meticulous research and collaboration, Victor has created a compelling narrative that bridges cultural heritage with ecological preservation.Victor's work with experts in anthropology, ecology, history, and Cherokee culture, shines as an insightful and culturally enriching exploration. Adobe After Effects, Audition and Lightroom were used to professionalize the documentary.
